Partner with Us

Join the Board or Advisory Committee.

We are currently recruiting volunteers who believe in providing an equitable education for all West Seattle public elementary school students, and who understand the complex, systemic racist practices that have created our current educational disparities. We are committed to fostering a board that represents and embodies the diverse communities we serve. Our board members come from all over West Seattle and bring a balanced set of assets to amplify our mission. We value authenticity, thoughtful engagement, critical thinking and curiosity, a sense of humor, and a commitment to the greater whole, in pursuit of personal and community growth.

WSPSEF seeks individuals who are passionate about more than just doing the work--we are building and tending to the trusting, authentic relationships that create a culture of community care and healing. Our Board and Advisory Committee Members are interested in sharing knowledge, power and resources equitably, knowing their neighbors, and furthering their own personal and community equity journeys.
